Skald III is a bilge keel Sadler 26 built in 1984 by Sadler Yachts of Hamworthy, Poole. She has up to six berths, a dinette arrangement that can seat six a galley with oven, Eberspacher heater and Bukh diesel engine.

The hull was epoxied below the waterline in 1996 and the standing rigging replaced in 1997.

The hull is double skinned and filled with foam buoyancy - Sadler 26s are unsinkable!
