Hull and Superstructure

• Stripped and re-painted
• Anti-fouled at regular intervals

Mechanical

• Old Perkins P6 engines removed and engine room totally stripped, repainted and sound proofed
• New Ford Mermaid 2725E 6 cylinders 120hp engines installed 2002
• New hydraulic PRM gear boxes installed2002
• Old bronze prop shafts renewed by stainless steel ones
• New bronze propellers and shaft couplings installed
• Cutlass bearings renewed
• Twin rope cutters fitted to each prop shaft
• Mathay steering system overhauled
• Exhaust system completely renewed
• Diesel fuel tanks replaced, new fuel lines and filter systems installed
• Eberspacher heating system overhauled and new trunking installed

• Hydraulic anchor winch and pump overhauled
• All domestic water piping and pumps replaced 

Electrical

• All systems rewired
• Shore supply
• 3 systems installed: 24 volt domestic battery bank, 12 volt engine cranking batteries, separate 12 volt system for instrumentation, 230 volt Mastervolt inverter for domestic supply
• New battery chargers (24 and 12 volt)
• 400 amp alternator on port engine overhauled 
• All switches and engine instrumentation renewed
• 240 volt immersion heater installed in calorifier
• 13 amp 240 volt power sockets throughout
• 12 volt radio/CD player installed in galley
• All light fittings replaced or re-chromed

Navigational equipment

• New chart table built with Yeoman Plotter
• Garmin GPS installed
• New Simrad DSC installed
• Pinta autopilot overhauled

Deck and deck gear

• Vessel re-decked (traditional teak laid on marine ply)
• New pulpit and stanchions in stainless steel
• New cleats (stainless steel)
• Anchor winch overhauled
• New mast 

Accommodation

• All original varnish work stripped and re-done throughout the vessel, all internal paintwork re-done
• Galley rebuilt using the original Frederick Parker design (from plans obtained from the Maritime Museum in Greenwich) and fitted with new cooker, fridge-freezer, washing machine, stainless sink with water purifier and storage space
• Saloon: new seats upholstered with Designer Guild fabric

• Owners’cabin and fore cabin: new tailor made mattresses from The Natural Mat Company, London, Airflow springs fitted on all bunks, bedding from Victoria Yachting
• Heads: refurbished and re-chromed, new taps, new mirrors, shower refurbished, extractor fans fitted
• Wheelhouse: teak bookcase built 
• Windows fitted with SKY venetian blinds from Oceanair, except owners’cabin which has new curtains

All work carried out fully documented.
