Engines and Machinery

Her twin Volvo Penta AD41 200hp Turbo diesels on Duo Prop outdrives have done approximately 800 hours (Oct 2007). 

Max speed is in the region of 33 knots. Fuel consumption is in the region of 8 gallons per hour at a cruising speed of 20 knots

The engines were removed and overhauled in 2005. The outdrives have recently been fitted with new cone clutches and seals.
