Souzette has been perfect for our East coast cruising and as we are very fortunate to have some lovely rivers to explore, which is exactly what Souzette was designed and built for.

Souzette is a historic local yacht. (see history by John leather) To the best of my knowledge Souzette has never been gaff rigged but has a tall rig to help sail the tree lined Essex rivers.

Her tall rig allows for excellent performance past tree lined rivers and we take great delight sailing through the lee of fat short rigged plastic yachts !

She is a member of the Vintage Wooden boat Association.

My wife and I have enjoyed many evenings aboard Souzette, comfortably settling into the mud listening to Classic FM, whilst others scuttle back to their noisy marinas.

Souzette's new owners will become used to admiring comments from other yachtsmen.
