Construction is pitch pine on grown oak frames, bent frames between, Mahogany interior,
Aformosia (teak) decks on 3/16 marine ply, Perflexed and fastened with Gripfast bronze nails, laid in 1994.
Ballast is 1 and 3/4 tons of lead ingots

The Coach roof has been covered with glass cloth and west system epoxy.
The Coach roof sides to the deck are of solid Mahogany.
Spindrift is painted cream on her coach roof and hull. Below the waterline she is painted with black anti fouling. Her rubbing strake is
black all other wood work is bright.
