Build 1930 by  Dickie of Loch Tabert, Loch Fyne:

Gaff Cutter, 450 sq foot of sail.

Construction is pitch pine on grown oak frames, bent frames between, Mahogany interior, Aformosia  (teak) decks on 3/16 marine ply, Perflexed and fastened with Gripfast bronze nails, laid in 1994.

Ballast is 1 and 3/4 tons of pig iron and lead ingots 

The Coach roof has been covered with glass cloth and west system epoxy. 
The Coach roof sides to the deck are of solid Mahogany.
Spindrift is painted cream on her coach roof and hull. Below the waterline she is painted with black anti fouling. Her rubbing strake is black all other wood work is bright.

Spars

All spars are of Pitch Pine.  She has a long straight keel and a canoe stern

Deck Gear

Simpson Lawrence high speed anchor windlass
Mast in galvanised tabernacle with tubular steel support under deck through to keelson.
Galvanised Samson post combining bowsprit stop, Bow roller and anchorage for Jackstays.
Fairleads.
Bronze bitts
Mainsheet horse

Engine: 

Inboard Yanmar 12 hp. Morse controls. 

Electrics / Electronics

Vessel rewired during rebuild, switch panel above nav area. 
Two ships batteries on 1 to 2 battery switch.
Side lights Anchor and Stern lights are original oil lamps converted to electric but can be converted back easily in the event of emergency.

3 x Electric bilge pumps, one in the engine compartment, one in the saloon and one in the heads.
