This Classic Motor Sailer Ketch, Springbok, built by J. McCaughey
Boatbuilders, Wick, Scotland in 1973. She has a long shallow keel. Her
lines and construction are similar to those of a Scottish Motor Fishing Vessel
(MFV) believed to be Larch and Iroko on Oak. Her superstructure was
professionally rebuilt 10-15 years ago - believed Mahogany and marine ply.
She
has inside and cockpit helm positions, an enclosed heads, and a good galley in
the Wheelhouse. She offers comfortable accommodation for two.
She has a
good selection of equipment including Radar, AIS, GPS Chartplotter etc..
Mechanical
propulsion is by 85hp Volvo Penta MD40 six-cylinder diesel engine.
