Stardust of Stromness is a fin keel, Westerly Merlin Sloop built by Westerly Yachts Ltd in 1985. The hull, Yard build no GF17,  was built to Lloyds Register of Shipping standards (Reg. HCC SOU 510201) and was coated with VC Tar Epoxy when new.

She has 7 berths. Mechanical power is by 20hp Bukh DV10/20 diesel.

She is well equipped and includes Electric Anchor Windlass and Eberspacher heater.
