Engine

The 10 hp Twin cylinder Stuart Turner engine sits beneath the cockpit sole and can be accessed from two removable hatches in the sole and from behind the companion way steps.  It was completely re-built in 1998

The engine is fitted with twin seawater intakes. 

The 12 Volt Sonnenschein sealed gel battery can be seen to the right of the engine with its main switch in the bulkhead.

The throttle control is on the port hand side of the cockpit, the Forward / Neutral / Astern gear lever in a sealable socket in the cockpit sole.
