Construction

GRP foam sandwich construction (construction method designed by Essex University and approved by Lloyds - full details available) to a design by John Mitchell. .

Topsides are painted in two pot polyurethane undercoat and gloss - two coats of each.

Underwater area is coated with two coats of Solventless Epoxy on anti osmosis protection - and antifouled.

The deck is constructed of 1/2inch marine ply covered with heavy woven glass cloth and two coats Epoxy resin. The finish coat is Deckaplex non slip deck paint.
