Owner's Comments
Sulya has been with us since 1988. She is Part One Registered and we are her sixth set of owners. When we bought her she needed a huge amount of refurbishment, but, in the words of the original surveyor, "She is well worth saving", so, in the following 18 months we stripped back everything recommended in the survey - new bulkheads and new solid teak decks, new coachroof, new cockpit, 90% Silicon Bronze fastenings. New modern heads and shower. Every time a problem has occurred subsequently (as they occasionally do on a 53 year old boat) the work has been meticulously carried out with no bodge jobs anywhere! We have sailed Sulya on the West Coast of Scotland since her relaunch in 1991. It is not the most hospitable of coasts but Sulya is far more capable off handling the Atlantic rough stuff than we are. We are selling now because we would like something a bit bigger and to sail somewhere a bit warmer. |
