Engine

The Volvo MD31A (62hp, naturally aspirated) is accessed by lifting the floor panels. It does most of its work at a modest 1800-2100 rpm. The Fischer Panda 4 Generator is also on the centre line. Both are very quiet and easily accessible for servicing.

The larger 18.5 x 12 prop is perfectly matched to the larger engine and gives a top speed of just under 8 knots. Both rudder and prop are protected from fishing nets etc. A Stripper is also fitted.
