Svenskdam is a Vindo 40 built in Sweden in 1979. She
offers up to 6 berths in two cabins. The settee berths in
the main cabin are unusually wide, one converting into a 4ft
wide double! Mechanical power is by Volvo MD11C 2-cylinder
diesel engine - overhauled 1999. Her hull was epoxy treated
in 1996. Vindos have a GRP hull and deck with a Mahogany coachroof
and cockpit. The encapsulated, long keel and safe work
areas make them super sea-boats. Indeed Svenskdam has
taken previous owners round Britain, to Northern Spain,
Portugal, Holland and Ireland.
