This pretty yacht, Sybil is believed to be an East Coast Sloop. She was built by the Walton Yacht and Launch Works, Shepperton in 1934. The current owner bought her on the Thames in 1986, used her for a few years and then brought her ashore to his farm where she has gathered dust for the past few years. 

Her Stuart Turner engine was frost damaged and scrapped some time ago. 

She now needs a new owner, and a LOT of work

Understood to be of pitch pine on oak frames with a pitch pine centreline structure. She has a full length cast iron keel  and has at some time been fitted with steel bilge plates to allow her to take the ground.
