Owner's Comments
My first trip from Brightlingsea to Chichester confirmed Tani's sea kindly motion, she heads through the water instead of bouncing on top. The passage was non-stop, and the wind died after the first day. The rest of the trip was completed under engine and motor sailing. Other trips were Dartmouth, Cherbourg, Poole plus numerous excursions out of Chichester on day trips.
Standing on deck, Tani feels solid, like a "little ship", not just a "boat" this was the main thing that attracted me to her 15 years ago. Today she feels the same and because she is such a dry vessel she has been on a swinging mooring in open water in Chichester Harbour, for most of the fifteen years that I have owned her. Current insurance is comprehensive from Brest to the Elbe. Regretfully, now that I am 83 the time has come to move on. |
