"Teekay", Purbrook Heron Lying Suffolk

Owner's Comments
The Purbrook Heron attracted me as a distinctive vessel capable of handling all weathers but with incredibly generous accommodation brought about by her full width decks. She is well-built with a good heritage, and with her deep cockpit providing a safe environment for smaller crew. Her Norwegian stern gives her a distinctive look. Although I have not owned her for long I have been impressed with her stability in F5/F6 conditions. She sails well with her Genoa under lighter conditions. In heavy conditions you have to reef the main early. She motors along extremely well and is directionally stable. Soon after buying her my personal circumstances changed with a new addition to my family! I am resigned to the fact that I will not have time to give her the attention that she deserves. |
