Tramontana, ex Morena, is a Harrison Butler designed Bermudan Cutter, built by
Anderson Rigden and Perkins. of Whitstable, in 1934. She is based on Harrison
Butler's Cayuca design for a craft to cruise the South Sea Islands in the
Southern Pacific. Construction is of 1žinch thick Pitch Pine planking on sawn
Oak frames. Keel is Lead with Bronze keelbolts.
She provides five berths in two cabins, has a good galley with Taylor's Paraffin
stove, has a solid fuel burning heater, separate heads with washbasin, and an excellent,
large, navigation table with GPS Chart Plotter, etc..
Mechanical Propulsion is by BMC Commander 4-cylinder diesel engine
(~45hp).
