Owner's Comments
Originally we were looking for a yacht which would be comfortable to liveaboard for an extended period of time and would be capable of sailing in most waters. We wanted a light and airy interior, comfortable in all weather, and a good sized cockpit to facilitate both outdoor living and safety when sailing. We continue to be very impressed with the standard of finish and spaciousness of the below decks accommodation. This is where American boats score. The two en-suite cabins have enabled us to have friends / guests / crew staying on board in comfort, and the large saloon can accommodate eight with ease. The spacious and well appointed galley (three burner stove; fridge and freezer; Corian work surfaces; integrated rubbish disposal) is almost like being in your own kitchen.
Whilst sailing is the main purpose for owning a yacht, even the most ardent sailor will still spend a great deal of time in port or at anchor. White Horses fills both categories admirably. My wife says "I have always felt completely safe in her no matter the conditions, (and we have been caught out in gales) she is stabile, dry and comfortable" We are selling with great regret, but a change in retirement plans and a probable move abroad necessitates the sale. It is likely that a berth could be retained at the present location. |
