White Swan is a single screw classic motor yacht built by H.M. Dockyard, Portsmouth, of  double diagonal, Mahogany planking on Oak frames in 1940. 

She has been partially restored but still needs considerable work. 

She has a current Boat Safety Certificate.

Deck Equipment

Guard rails and stanchions for side decks (currently dismantled)
Forward deck fixed stainless steel pulpit and guardrails.
Anchor chain and windlass (currently seized) on foredeck
Range of substantial bronze deck fittings including bollards, cleats, mushroom vents, searchlight and fairleads, all recently machine polished and sealed.
3 solar powered chrome circular vents in foredeck to ventilate heads, shower and forward cabin

General Equipment

3 x 240 Volt oil filled heaters
electric oven, 
gas hob (not yet connected) 
automatic electric toilet (24 volt)

Engine and Machinery

Single Screw Ford (Polar) raw water cooled Diesel (ca 1985) 6-cylinder with usual gauges. Engine start via button and key from steering position
Fuel filter water separator (2005)
24 Volt Electric bow thruster controlled from steering position with toggle.
Mikuni Diesel warm air heating system  - three outlets
24Volt pressurised hot and cold water system to galley, shower and heads.
24Volt Shower and grey water drain pump - currently overboard but could be routed to tank


Water - 1800 litres fresh water ( plastic) in engine room
Diesel - 500 litres steel in engine room
Holding (Black water) - 1800 litres in engine room

Electrics / Electronics

24 V battery bank 
New digital 15amp charger 
Feeds engine start, bow thruster, electric toilet, water pressure pump, shower drain pump, one automatic bilge pump, Navigation lights. Also charged via engine alternator
12V Battery Bank with 
New 50amp Sterling charger
Feeds cabin lighting, some instruments, one automatic bilge pump.
DSC VHF Radio (unused and not installed) with antenna.
32 Amp 240V shore power installation.
1x1500 amp 12V-240V inverter 
1x2000amp 12V-240V inverter.
Bronze Navigation lights 

Safety Gear

Engine driven bilge pump
2 x electric automatic bilge pumps
2x circular life belts


Non-residential mooring at Chelsea Harbour possibly available by separate negotiation with landlords. Electricity supply metered. Secure underground car park space available by negotiation with landlords.
