Volvo Penta MD2C 2-cylinder diesel, with reverse; electric and hand start. 

23 hp gives ample power when needed. Raw seawater cooling. Recent stainless fuel tank (9 gallons). Darglow 3-bladed feathering propeller (2003) on starboard quarter, to minimise drag under sail. 

Oil pressure warning light, temperature gauge and rev. counter. Cold-start button can be operated from cockpit. 

Good access for engine maintenance.
