Engine and Mechanics
The engine is a Yanmar 4JH2 DTE rating 65/65Kw aprox. 80hp. Hours estimated at 240. Fuel consumption is in the region of 5 litres per hour. At the foot of the ladder is the main engine hatch which allows access for the daily checks. Anything else and the ladder comes away and the hatch can be removed as can the floor sections and bearers. This provides all round access, also exposes the lid to the battery compartment. The Mastervolt Whisper 6000 AC Generator had a new engine fitted in 2006 and has done very few hours. |
